Trident, Inc. (Trident) and Vantage Systems, Inc. (Vantage) established the Trident Vantage Systems (TVS) 8(a) Joint Venture (JV) with the focused commitment to enable Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) mission success and excellence using the TIDES Contract.

Trident and Vantage are highly experienced aerospace and technology companies with over 23 years of successful GSFC operations. Trident is a Virginia-based company that has been in business since 1983. It was certified as a Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) company in 2009. Trident is an engineering and Information Technology (IT) consulting company. They work on Government IT as well as commercial projects and provide software services, including customized software applications and proprietary software for telephony and human resources management. Trident offers a diverse technology experience in information technologies such as networking and software/Web development, and wireless communications. Trident is certified by Cisco as a Cisco Solutions Partner and by Microsoft as a registered partner with software development qualifications. Trident hosts and operates a cloud data center to provide service to its IT clients and to provide bandwidth to its wireless Internet service operations. Trident also provides scientific and engineering services with project management services to Government agencies. Currently, Trident holds two NASA GSFC contracts. Its first contract with Goddard was awarded in 2012 to manage and support the Goddard Institute of Space Studies (GISS) in New York through its other JV company, Trinnovim, LLC. Its second contract, recently awarded, is to manage the NASA Goddard Visitor and Education Center at GSFC. Trident has an excellent record of business integrity and ethics and strives to provide the best quality service to its customers and clients. Vantage is a long-time, highly respected, active member of the Goddard contractor community as well as a member of the Goddard Contractors Association (GCA) and the Maryland Space Business Roundtable (MSBR). Vantage has earned a reputation in the Goddard community as a responsible and capable engineering services firm.

Vantage is a Maryland-based International Standards Organization (ISO)-certified, multi-disciplinary aerospace engineering services company that serves NASA’s space communities in Maryland, Virginia, and Ohio by providing engineering and project management support services, including research, applied engineering, design and development, managed manufacturing of hardware, integration and test, mission operations, and science support services. Over the past 20 years (established 1992, graduated 8(a) program in March 2012), Vantage has progressively grown from a small two-person consulting firm to a major small business prime contractor. Vantage is a METS II subcontractor and has participated in METS or its predecessor contracts for over 20 years. Vantage also has and is performing similar functions to TIDES solicitation requirements for GSFC projects such as HST, SDO, LRO, GPM, LDCM, GOES N-P, ELC, JWST, MMS, JPSS, MAVEN, OSIRiS-Rex, and ICEsat-2 under Prime 8(a) contracts or as a Subcontractor on other GSFC Prime Contracts. As the JV managing partner of Vantage Partners, LLC (VPL), Vantage successfully manages the Glenn Engineering and Scientific Support 3 (GESS-3) contract, which is a NASA multiple, concurrent Task Order (TO) effort very similar to that defined by the TIDES solicitation. VPL is awarded the Small Business Prime Contractor 2014 for Glenn Research Center and is nominated as the NASA Small Business Prime Contractor (under evaluation by the NASA Headquarters).
